Hi, I’m Ryan and I love to write code. I currently reside in Bend, OR with my wife and our dog. When I am not writing code, you might find me on one of my bicycles, walking on a local trail with my family, or working on our home which ended up being more of a fixer upper than we anticipated.
I have been writing code in some form since High School. I owe that early start to my Dad, and his use of the first word processors and a Commadore 64 that we had in our home. I remember experimenting with Microsoft Frontpage and Macromedia Dreamweaver / Shockwave during High School. This led to an internship my Senior year of High School at LSI Logic. That year and the following years working at LSI Logic was the foundation that I have built my career on. In the twenty years since then, I have worked in a variety of businesses, technologies, and computer languages. I have a natural aptitude in problem solving and quickly learning new technologies that allows me to be successful in a wide variety of roles and situations.
