I was a leader on the team that developed the initial release of the Cvent Events. The app was a replacement for the CrowdCompass Mobile App that I had worked on for years prior. As a member of the initial team I helped architect the app, establish development workflows, and review code.
Summary
- A lead member of the core team that wrote the app from the ground up in React Native utilizing Apollo, GraphQL, and CouchbaseLite in order to tightly integrate with the Cvent platform.
- Helped on board new teams to work on the app by providing feedback and guidance to developers unfamiliar with mobile development and React Native. I established best practices and a consistent framework for how features were architected within the app.
- Reviewed pull requests and collaborated with team members to ensure work followed established patterns and met our performance standards.
